In the book Black and White by Paul Volponi it reveals the strong relationship between two friends who have a passion for basketball. Although this book may seem more appling to young teenagers, it brings a great thrill to all ages and that's why I rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars. This action packed, suspenseful story has you thinking about your actions while under pressure. When two boys hav been together for so long, their minds have been disgusted by the thought of shooting someone. Although people may use actions before words, Marcus and Eddie have been cripled by the sight of near death. Now being arrested with a criminal record, becoming the greatest high school players may only be the best thing that will ever happen to them ever. If you have a dream of being a basketball player in your future, this book unravels the complexity within a friendship and a career.
