Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince By J.k Rowling

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth book of J. K. Rowling's series, and Harry is now 16 and becoming a young man. Ron, Hermione, and he are in their sixth year at Hogwarts, moving into more complicated classes and finding love and attraction with the opposite sex. Lord Voldemort and his Death-Eaters are wreaking so much havoc that it's spilling over to the muggle world. Harry is aware of the consiquences that he is the chosen one to take on Voldemort, and his life takes on a darker and dangerous tone as everyone expects him to fulfill his dream or killing voldemort. Harry Potter is waiting nervously in his bedroom at the Durselys’ house in Privet Drive for a visit from Professor Dumbledore himself. One of the last times he saw the Headmaster was in a one-to-one duel with Lord Voldemort, and Harry can’t believe that Professor Dumbledore will actually appear at the Dursleys’ household.

Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire By J.K Rowling

http://harrypotter.warnerbros.com/
Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire is a thrilling and suspense-filled story that readers all over the world will enjoy. Harry Potter is an exciting gateway to an enchanted world of magic and curses, truth and lies, joy and sadness. All of this is woven into a plot so realistic that it seems you are there, with Harry, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. I highly recommend this book if you are an avid reader, because although J. K. Rowling has doubled the size of this book compared to the preceding ones, she has managed to capture the attention of her fans and keep it, from cover to cover. When Harry, Ron and Hermione finally arrive at Hogwarts, it becomes clear that the school year will run differently, too. Students from two other European wizard academies -- Durmstrang, a thinly-veiled Eastern European school and Beauxbatons, the snooty French school whose students wear silk robes will be staying at the castle to participate in a long-abandoned inter-school magic competition.

Da Vinci Code By Dan Brown

As it is such an interesting and, at times, thrilling read there is no doubt as to why The Da Vinci Code has been doing so well on the book charts, even though it has been on the shelves for such a long time. The character development is genius. The way Sophie and Robert make connections between things in their heads and out loud to each other is extremely believable. Also, I enjoyed the way ideas introduced at the beginning of the book came together near the middle and end. I often found myself wanting to skip ahead to find out the key to solving a certain code or the meaning behind a symbol, as the author certainly keeps the reader in suspense.I would recommend The Da Vinci Code to those who delight in a good mystery; it's plot twists and difficult codes will be thoroughly enjoyed.

Finnie Walsh

In the Finnie Walsh By Steven Galloway, Paul Woodward, the novel’s narrator, meets Finnie in the fall of 1980, when they are both third graders. They are from opposite sides of the track in the small mill town of Portsmouth; Finnie’s father owns the mill where Paul’s father works. The boys’ shared love of hockey brings them together; friendship keep them together, and forms one of the novel’s key themes. The story begins with the boys playing driveway hockey at the Woodwards’, while Paul’s father tries to get some sleep before his nightshift. Their play keeps him awake, and subsequently inattentive at work, he loses an arm in a sawmill accident. Finnie goes through alot of hardships as a young boy and needs to face advirsory in the novel, when he plays hockey and becomes a great. This novel has been a great start to the career of Steven Galloway and has had people grabbing this novel off the shelves.

Rucker Park Setup

In the sequal of "Black and White" Paul Volponi demonstrates the complexities of two boys and their dream for basketball. A boy who has a best friend who was killed at their Rucker Park where they play basketball. The story has good horror and confusion as a boy whos watched his friend die fight through and become somebody. These boys have been friends from the start. A rapmember named Greene made a bet with one of the coaches Fat Anothony and shows his determination to help this team win the championship. This story has a good mystery and will have you jumping out of your shorts at some point. This story also describes mystery and a boy's journey to success.

Black and White By Paul Volponi

In the book Black and White by Paul Volponi it reveals the strong relationship between two friends who have a passion for basketball. Although this book may seem more appling to young teenagers, it brings a great thrill to all ages and that's why I rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars. This action packed, suspenseful story has you thinking about your actions while under pressure. When two boys hav been together for so long, their minds have been disgusted by the thought of shooting someone. Although people may use actions before words, Marcus and Eddie have been cripled by the sight of near death. Now being arrested with a criminal record, becoming the greatest high school players may only be the best thing that will ever happen to them ever. If you have a dream of being a basketball player in your future, this book unravels the complexity within a friendship and a career.
